There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4:18,19
On the glorious splendor of your majesty and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. Psalms 145:5
One of the most beautiful ways to embrace God’s love is through stillness, pausing to reflect on His goodness, His presence, and His faithfulness. In a world that demands constant movement, taking time to sit with God allows our hearts to soften and our souls to be filled.
God’s love is always near, always available. But He does not force it upon us. When our hearts are weighed down by distractions, resentment, or the exhaustion of striving, we may struggle to feel His love, not because He withholds it, but because we are too closed off to receive it.
As women, we often carry the burden of holding everything together. We pour out, we press on, we care deeply. But in the midst of our giving, we can forget how to receive. Yet, true rest begins when we lay down our self-reliance and our need to control.
What if your emptiness was never meant to be feared, but filled?
When we surrender, we create space for God to meet us. And as His perfect love rushes in, fear begins to fade. Worry is quieted. Striving loses its grip. In His presence, we are invited to be still.
Today, shift your gaze toward God. The more we are filled with His love; fear is replaced with trust, restlessness with peace, emptiness with abundance. And in that sacred place of surrender, we find what our hearts have longed for all along—to be fully seen, fully known, and fully loved.
