Day 7 - Direction

I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. John 14:16, 17, 18

Even in seasons when God’s love feels distant, even when the weight of life presses heavily on your heart, you are never truly alone. His love is not dependent on your emotions, or your ability to hold everything together, it is anchored in who He is. Though you may stumble, grow weary, or even feel lost, His faithfulness never wavers. He restores, pursues, and draws you back to Himself with unrelenting grace.

God sent the Holy Spirit, not as a distant concept, but as an ever-present Helper who dwells within you. He is your Comforter, your Advocate, your Strength when you feel weak. Even when the path ahead is unclear, He is whispering truth, guiding your steps, and interceding for you with a love beyond comprehension.

God’s love is not detached from your daily life, it is intricately woven into every moment. In your joys, He celebrates. In your sorrows, He comforts. In your uncertainties, He leads. He does not simply want to be part of your life; He longs to walk with you, moment by moment, in deep and intimate fellowship. Moment by moment, we can turn to Him in prayer, asking, “What’s next, Lord? Lead me to the next person, next task, next verse, and next lesson.

Today, take a breath and rest in this truth: God is near. His love is not just something to understand, it is a presence to experience. Let the Holy Spirit lead your heart and fill you with strength, wisdom, and peace.
