Day 11 - Precious

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9

As women, it’s easy to feel lost in the mundane, the endless cycles of cooking meals, cleaning spaces, caring for others, and running errands. In the repetition of daily tasks, we may begin to question our value and purpose, wondering if our unseen efforts truly matter.

But Jesus never dismissed the ordinary. He fed the hungry, healed the sick, welcomed children, and lived a life of service. Yet, He always pointed to something greater. He reminded us not to lose sight of the supernatural in the midst of the everyday.

Even in the most routine moments, God is at work. While our hands stay busy, our hearts and minds can remain fixed on what is above. And the only way to hold onto this eternal perspective is to remember who we are.

You are not insignificant. You are not just a collection of tasks or obligations. You are chosen. You are royal. You are deeply treasured by God. He has called you out of darkness and into His marvelous light, not just to exist, but to shine.

When we begin to see life through the lens of eternity, we recognize that every person we encounter is an eternal soul, someone deeply loved by God, someone we have the opportunity to impact. A kind word, a simple act of service, a prayer lifted on behalf of another—these are not just fleeting moments; they are seeds sown into eternity. Every interaction is a chance to reflect Christ’s love and draw others toward His family.

Today, how can you first receive His love, and then allow it to flow through you, both in the smallest acts of service and in the greater purpose He has for your life? Don’t miss the divine significance woven into your daily tasks. Every moment, every action, is part of His eternal plan.
